We have 2 bottles both unopened and in good condition. The first is a Napoleon Cognac (Gaston De Lagrange) bottled in 1958. The other is Gautier Freres Cognac bottled in 1936. We Were just wondering what they could be worth and where we could possibly sell them. Thank you.
I find many of the Columbia Gorge wines have the taste of tar. What gives the grapes from this region that flavor profile?

What is the drinking window for the following two Knoll Reislings: 2002 Smaragd, Ried Loibenberg 2003 Federspiel, Loibner Riesling I've heard anything less than five years for these babies is "infanticide" Just out of interest, what would they cost me to buy now ? I bought them for around €25 each in Austria shortly after each vintage.
How long can a red wine age in a bottle with a screw cap? A friend and I each purchased a case of 2007 Strong Arms Shiraz a couple years ago. When we first bought the cases, the wine was well balanced. Now, every time we open a bottle, it tastes very harsh and is not drinkable. I'm afraid we are going to have to use it for cooking! I like to enjoy a glass or two of wine in the evening, but I have no idea the best way to store it to help it keep the flavor. I have purchased box and screw-top bottles, just because they store easier. Any suggestions or ideas would be very appreciated
How do Malbec wines generally age? I like a lot of Argentine Malbec, and I was just wondering if they are usually best young or old (how old is too old?)
