I love sweet wind but can only fine it in a white variety. Is there one in red or am I just going to have to stick to white? What is the best white that is a step before desert wine that I can purchase?
Thanks for the note on sulfur dioxide - but what are sulfates? Had an Ontario wine recently that gave me a tremendous headache and I saw (too late) on the label that it contained sulfates. Are wineries obliged to indicate sulfates on the label? Juudy

Dear LWE, I live on the central coast of California, where you know there a numerous wineries to taste at. I find that I have been too timid to spit out any wine that I have found unpleasant to me thus making everything taste bitter by the third/fourth pour. Where should I spit the wine out into the dump or glass I am using at the winery and how long do you swish/chew before spitting?

I have a bottle of Napoleon VO Brandy. The label nr is B85. Gold & red. 43% Alcohol. 750ml. At top/bottom of label is printed: Chatelle Brandy. On cap is printed: French Brandy - Shippers club - negociants a cognac charente. Emblem on label with 3 stars. Pure french brandy. Produced, blended and bottled in France. Can you please supply me more info on year of manufacture and current value of bottle???
Do fluctuations of temperature in a wine cooler create long-term effects on wine? My cooler averages 55 degrees, but will range from 53 to 57 throughout the day as the cooling system turns on and off. Will this negatively affect the wines as versus a constant temperature of 55 degrees?
