Is it necessary to turn your bottles occasionally while storing them in a wine cooler?
Can you please tell me if an unopened, properly stored, bottle of 2015 Williams Selyem Unoaked Chardonnay is still drinkable?
What would be a good sweet wine at my girlfriend might like red or white. She typically likes those sweet mixed drinks buy Seagram's. So something in that flavor range just not sickening sweet. Thanks Robert
I'm new at wine, but loving it! I don't like a wine that has a bold or strong robust flavor. But do like the Red's, as well as some White's. Something more on the line of a full flavor, sweet wine! Any suggestions?
A long time ago I read that it is histamines, not sulfites, that induce headaches when drinking wine, especially red wine. I can not find the article now. Just wondering if you have heard of this? I work at a local winery and the statement comes up often that customers can't drink wine because of the headaches caused by sulfites. I thought sulfites are naturally occurring in most of the food and drinks we consume so unless there has been a huge amount added to preserve the wine it should not be an issue. Your thoughts?
A friend of mine has a wine license to import, sale and distribute imported wine from Argentina. Now, we want to explore the alternative to sell the wine directly to the customers on internet, only to customers living in the State of Florida. Is this possible? What kind of license do we need? We need to open another corp?
So I read this week\'s question about whether or not to tip on alcohol. While I agree with the answers provided, my question is this. If I go to a restaurant and order a $50 bottle of wine and tip 20%, the server gets about $10, however, if I go into a restaurant and order a very nice bottle and spend, say, $200, I should be given the same service and the bottle is the same size, but, are you then suggesting that I should pay $40? That is the only time that I have ever considered not tipping on the entire amount of the bill. What are your thoughts? Thanks!
I was over at a friends house when she introduced me to Moscato. It smelled wonderful & when I tasted it, It was even better than what I thought it could be!! What exactly is it? & Why don\'t many restaurants offer it? When I find a place that actually does offer it on their wine list, I either get it as a before or after dinner drink because I have no clue as to what I should pair it with. Can you give me some information on it? Thanks so much!!
Wine was left in 85 degree room after electrical outage. Is is still good? If so, for how long?
Dear Sir, we made the mistake of leaving a bottle of limoncello and a bottle of mirto in the freezer several days before a party and then of leaving them at room temperature all night long during the party (don't ask). Can we still put them in the fridge or in the freezer since it's alcohol and not meat or any other decaying thing? Many thanks.
