Looking For My Wine!

I'm new at wine, but loving it! I don't like a wine that has a bold or strong robust flavor. But do like the Red's, as well as some White's. Something more on the line of a full flavor, sweet wine! Any suggestions?
Answer From Expert Roger Bohmrich MW

Good news: There is a world of choice available to you! I suggest you start cautiously, sample a number of inexpensive wines, and try to find out what you really like and establish some early favorites. That may be enough, but of course you can always take it further and keep trying new wines. Visit any large wine store with an extensive selection. Since you say you want "flavor" and something "sweet," look (or ask) for one of the many new sweet red wines which have come onto the market. You'll find many brands such as Yellow Tail (their Sweet Red Roo), Gallo Family (Sweet Red) or Barefoot Cellars (Sweet Red). These wines will cost under $8 per bottle and are widely available. If these prove too sweet for your taste, move on to other basic so-called "dry" reds from grapes including Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon and Shiraz. For whites, look to inexpensive Chardonnay or Moscato. Again, there are countless alternatives at your disposal, so by all means take a chance and you'll be rewarded!
