I have a case of red wine in my apartment (on the third floor). For the next few days, the temperature is supposed to be up into the 90's. I have two choices...keep the wine in my air-conditioned bedroom, which will be around 75 degrees F, or in the refridgerator. Which is the lesser of two evils? Thank you, Laura

Hello! I received a bottle of wine from Chile, Casa Diego Cabernet Sauvignon 2012, but I am skeptical because there is no marks on the bottle (raised letters etc, none whatsoever) and the bottle has one label on top of the other. Is this can be a counterfeit?

We recently had a person from Peru and Europe tasting wines, one of which was a Carlos (muscadine) wine. She was very excited when she tasted the Carlos wine and said that it smelled and tasted like wine which is popular in Peru (from a grape we call "Isabella" in the US) and also like the Moscato wine she had had in Italy (from the Moscato grape.) Is there a genetic relationship between these three grape varieties?
I have found liquors years after being first opened still enjoyable although probably different from their original taste. What is your experience in drinking liquors years after opening. I have read that wines with high alcohol content(port, brandy, liquor etc.) should not be left lying on their side as the alcohol will damage the cork. Comments?
