I have a bottle of Battaglio Barbaresco DOCG 2005 Produzione Limitata. L.08-126. The pink label on the neck of bottle says AAA 07755974. Can you tell me if this wine is still drinkable, or should I save it? Thanks!
What is the difference between Moscato and Chardonnay?
I like a dry Riesling but unless the bottle states "sweet" or "dry" on the label I have no clue as to its contents. Is there a way to determine the sugar level of Rieslings.
The wax is a plug & does not cover the top of the bottle. The cork is actually below the top of the bottle about 1/4 inch to allow room to insert the coin shape piece of hard wax which has to be pried out of the bottle. The producer was Zind Humbrecht. Thank you for your time & expertice. Dr, Donald Holzberg
Is Moscato better then Chardonnay or is Chardonnay better than Moscato

At a recent wine tasting we were challenged on the correct pronunciation of Verdelho. I had been told it is Ver-day-o and that the "lh" are pronounced like a Y. Others insisted that it is Ver-del-o and that the 'h' is silent. Can you please let us know which is right. Thanks!
Please help: 2 "smart" employees decided to wash some bottles of new, unopened, refrigerated bottles of wine that had mold on the outside of the bottles. 15 of the bottles became uncorked about 1/2" or less. When I became aware I was shocked that they did this. I never thought anyone would put them through the dishwasher... What happens to the wine now. Obviously I can't use them now. What about the bottles that are still intact?
After a party, still had a few unopened bottles of chardonay in the fridge. Can they be taken out of the fridge and stored at room temp? Or once chilled, do they have to remain chilled?
I have a bottle of Ch. Margaux 1982. If I want to consume it, how long should I decant this wine? Thank you.
