York Food and Drink Festival is a 10 day programme of events, which focusses on local and seasonal food and drink.
Everyday there is a free cocktail demonstration. There is also a themed daily introduction to wine. If you really want to try lots of wines, come to our 'Trade style wine tasting' where you pick up a glass at the door and then wander around tables of wines from different local suppliers and find out a little bit more about your palate and what you like. If spirits is more your thing, then we have a 'trade style' whisky tasting.
For something totally relaxed, why not wander around our huge market and stop for a pint of real Yorkshire ale in our beer tent?
Whatever you like, there is something to suit at York Food and Drink Festival.
