Wine Tastings In Grocery Stores Or Other Places...

When I am grocery shopping or at SPEC'S a local liquor store, I come across someone who is promoting a wine and gives you a free sample/taste! My question is what is their job title? I would love to do that for extra money!
Answer From Expert Roger Bohmrich MW

It's likely that the person offering you a free taste of a wine at an in-store promotion is a sales person from a local wine wholesaler. If you want to do that sort of work, look up the names online of wholesalers in your state (there are several in Houston). In some cases, depending on state laws, winery representatives are permitted to do this as well. Last, in some states "demonstrators" provided by a specialized agency may as well perform this service.
