Wine Relocation

I have about 50 bottles of wine priced in the $100-$300 range that I need to move to Wisconsin. Is it legal for me to send it to myself by DHL or FedX? or should I look into over road temp controlled carriers?
Answer From Expert Roger Bohmrich MW

To my knowledge, shipping services such as UPS or FedEx do not accept wine from non-licensed entities or from individuals. You can always contact them for confirmation. I think the best option for a small lot is to use the services of a specialized moving service. This will require some legwork to find one which will accept this type of shipment and has temperature-controlled trucks. You may as well want to investigate other forms of private transportation.
