Value Of

Selling price bottle of, cambas mavrodaphne golden cream ?
Answer From Expert Roger Bohmrich MW

By "selling price" I assume you mean the retail price. There is nothing I can find about the Golden Cream, which does not show up under the Cambas products displayed on the website of their U.S. importer. Is yours an older bottle, perhaps without a vintage, which may have been aged for some time in cask? The current Mavrodaphne - blended, as is typical, with the Korinthiaki grape - is a fortified red wine with 15% alcohol and 10% residual sugar. This type of wine is generally sold at low prices, often under USD 15 per bottle - and can be an excellent value.
