Rielsling

i just found a riesling called relax. it\'s really good. are there any out east that are semi sweet kind of like a white zin ??
Answer From Expert Roger Bohmrich MW

There are many Rieslings with degrees of sweetness that you might like. Look for basic bottlings from good German growers who are now commonly producing proprietary Rieslings, or other branded Rieslings. Here are a few names to look for that retail for around $10 to $15:

Clean Slate (Mosel)
Graff Riesling Kabinett (Mosel)
Dr. Loosen Riesling (Mosel)
Saint Urbans-Hof Riesling (Mosel)

You could also try one of the excellent Finger Lakes (NY) Rieslings that are labeled "semi dry" such as the benchmark example from Dr. Konstantin Frank.
