Price And Year

I have a bottle of napoleon french brandy. L. Turet & Co imported negociants A 16200 Franch would like to know age and if it's worth anything.
Answer From Expert Roger Bohmrich MW

L. Turet is apparently an old brand which was registered in the 1980s by Cognac Favraud, a house dating from the 1850s. Favraud, it seems, now belongs to the Ladoga Group, headquartered in St. Petersburg, Russia. There are various Favraud products on offer around the world, including both current bottlings and some old bottles at auction. There is no website I can find for either Favraud or Turet, a label I have never encountered. There are no current listings for either producer in the US. In other words, Turet is a bit of a mystery, and there really isn't any information I can share with you about your Cognac, when it was bottled, or its value. Where did you purchase this product?
