Hi, I am looking for the manufacture or contact of the bottling company of the 1960's Stefani Chianti wine bottle. This is the deep green twisted Italian wine bottle about 13" in height. Thanks in advance for your help.

I answered a question about a 1962 Stefani Chianti a while ago on the LWE forum. You can find examples online of various Stefani bottles from that period, including very tall examples with twisted necks. One of the size you indicate would likely be of standard capacity (perhaps around 700 ml) and could be a so-called fiasco with a bulbous lower section wrapped in wicker. Is that the one you have? As for the manufacturer, I don't personally know of manufacturers in Italy. The fiasco is still available although it is no longer as popular as it once was. I suggest you contact one of the U.S. importers of Chianti brands in this bottle style to see if they can help. Try Opici or Banfi, whose contact information is on the internet.
