Crank Wine Pour-er With Marble Base

Saw a crank wine pour-er with marble base at an auction was wondering the price it looked antique.
Answer From Expert Roger Bohmrich MW

There are older or antique models of these wine cradles with a crank. I saw one recently offered on e-bay and others on sites specializing in antiques of different types. The prices aren't fixed and seem to range anywhere from $200 to $500 or more. I know I have seen a modern copy of this stand offered for a much lower price, but I can't seem to find it right now. I looked at the listings of well-known U.S. wine accessory merchants without success. I did find one model(marked out of stock) at an English company. If you're interested, you may want to search the internet - it may take some patience to locate what you want - or go to a serious wine shop with a good selection of accessories and see if they can order one for you.
