Answer From Expert Roger Bohmrich MW

Questions from home winemakers come up now and again on the LWE forum. Technical ones such as yours call for advice from a skilled technician, or at least an experienced fellow home maker. By posting this reply, your question will appear in the Q&A section, and I hope it may elicit a helpful reply from the right person. You could also try to contact Tim Patterson, author of "Home Winemaking for Dummies," perhaps through the book's publisher.
