California Pinot Noir & Cabs

Good Day Was curious to see what years you would recommend for California Pinot Noir and Cabernets? Could you also recommend these types of wines in the $12-$25 range. Much Appreciated. Cheers! Jason
Answer From Expert Roger Bohmrich MW

Normally, I avoid endorsing specific brands, but I'm happy to point you in the right direction with a few suggestions. There are so many good wines of both varieties in California that it's challenging to narrow it down, so this is hardly an exhaustive list. Here are just a few wineries which have reliable bottlings in the lower and upper part of your target price range of $12 to $25:
Cabernet Sauvignon: Beaulieu, Conn Creek, Franciscan, Hawk Crest, Decoy, Hahn, Ravenswood, Sebastiani.
Pinot Noir: Bogle, La Crema, DeLoach, Chalone (Monterey), Belle Glos (Meimi), Laguna Ridge.
