1976 Krug Champagne

I have a bottle of 1976 Krug in original box, stored in my house (dark closet, constant temperature). What are my options?
Answer From Expert Roger Bohmrich MW

A familiar question, in that many have inquired on LWE about a single bottle of wine they have at home. I would say that most seem to want to find a way to turn the wine into cash, and want to know the value. I guess my inclination is to think about the enjoyment the wine will give and not the monetary angle. My best advice is pick the right moment and share the Krug with a few wine-loving friends who may never have tasted an older Champagne - especially one from Krug, which has a fabulous reputation for vintage Champagnes.
