Next spring we’ll be traveling through some of the most beautiful lands in Italy, with stays at family vineyards of artisan winemakers in the heart of wine country, at the colorful cliffside villages of Cinque Terre along the Italian riviera, and within the magical royal city of Torino along the river Po and in view of the Alps...

‘Vapiano' means “to go slowly”… and these tours embrace this philosophy of moving at a slower pace and enjoying the sweet life. While we have a wide and varied itinerary, it’s easy on the senses with an un-rushed pace with ample downtime to wander and connect. These are smaller, intimate tours (up to 14 people), allowing us to engage with smaller, artisan winemakers in ways we couldn’t otherwise… sharing meals together in amazing Italian-postcard settings… visiting family producers for behind-the-scenes experiences, sipping cappuccino among locals, dining at the family pizzeria and the like — always a really special and intimate time. 

Come even if you’re not big on wine! While a portion of the trip is focused around visiting some wonderful vineyards, the tour is truly for anyone who’s interested in experiencing a lovingly curated and inspired taste of Italy. We visit cheesemakers… coffee roasters... and an amazing one-of-a-kind chocolatier! Fantastic cuisine, afternoon at a modern spa nestled within what was previously an old wine cellar, a boat-ride along the Ligurian Coast to the medieval castles and quintessential beach cafes of Portovenere…

These tours are custom designed — and I like to think unique — evolving through my long-term relationships in the wine world and my personal journeys & friendships in Italy. I’m delighted to offer this tour and share my experience and love of Italy.
