Join Righteous Imports, as we Meet the Winemaker, Mr. Salvatore Ferragamo of Il Borro Toscana and taste his very unique and organic wines from Tuscany.

Since 1993, Salvatore Ferragamo, together with his father Ferruccio, have been responsible for conserving the Il Borro estate historical heritage but have also transformed the property into a 5-star, zero carbon footprint, Relais & Châteaux. This 1000-year-old medieval village has been painstakingly restored from ruins and its agriculture, converted to certified organic farming, thus producing world class wines with a unique concept of terroir.

Take a virtual journey with us to the heart of Tuscany where we will learn of the "art" of traditional wine-making methods and taste the most beautiful reflection of its fruits. Il Borro features one of the oldest cellars in Italy, where the first ever Chianti wine was produced, and today as then, the magic of winemaking continues with passion and commitment.

Il Borro wines have slowly risen to the tops of critics’ charts, with Robert Parker’s Wine Advocate singling out the winery for praise on multiple occasions, writing: “I can't think of many vintners with the courage and the means to apply such a spirit of creativity and entrepreneurship to their wines.”

With Mr. Salvatore Ferragamo, we will taste:

1. Il Borro Borrigiano 2018 (Red Blend)
2. Il Borro Petruna Sangiovese 2017 (Anfora Aged)
3. Il Borro Polissena Sangiovese 2017 (Single Vineyard)
4. Il Borro Rosso Super Tuscan 2016 (New French Allier Oak Aged)

Local attendees receive a FREE premium wine tasting of wines that retail up to $75 a bottle! You only pay for the presentation, packaging, and handling. Choose your desired ticket, enter your preferred pick up location if required, and we will take care of the rest! Enjoy a great and safe evening at home!
