Join Us for the Women's Recovery Dinner Series: Nourishment and Community
In honor of National Recovery Month, we are excited to present the Women’s Recovery Dinner Series, an uplifting series of events dedicated to supporting women on their journey to recovery from addiction and trauma. Each dinner will feature a healthy, delicious meal and a welcoming space for community bonding and shared experiences. This series is designed to provide nourishment for both body and soul while fostering meaningful connections among women in recovery. Make a night of it and stay for our 7pm weekly women's recovery meeting where we will have a special guest facilitator.
This Program is made possible by Women's Trauma Grants. Addiction and trauma are deeply intertwined, with trauma often exacerbating the challenges of addiction and complicating the recovery process. Studies indicate that over 70% of individuals with substance use disorders have experienced trauma, making it vital to address both issues simultaneously. Building strong community connections plays a pivotal role in recovery. Research shows that having supportive relationships can improve recovery outcomes by reducing feelings of isolation, boosting emotional well-being, and enhancing overall resilience. Join us this National Recovery Month to connect with others, enjoy a healthy meal, and strengthen the support network that is essential for your journey to healing.
