Chef and I designed a fantastic menu paired with some of our favorite wines that will be sure to please. We hope you'll be able to join us for a fun evening of enjoying great food paired with great wines while honoring our wonderful mothers! Here's the line-up:

HEAD’S UP
Seating is EXTREMELY limited. We have a limited number of tables for couples who want to sit by themselves so please let us know if you’re willing to sit at communal tables as that will GREATLY increase your chances of getting in. We also have the two firepit tables on the patio for two (https://www.winevaultbistro.com/fire-pit) available if you don’t mind sitting at a lower, coffee table height table. Also, please consider inviting another couple or two to join you as if you’re a party of four or six there won’t be a problem getting your own table. We are currently limiting party sizes to a maximum of six.

Wine Vault & Bistro is located in the heart of San Diego between Little Italy and Old Town at 3731-A India Street on the upstairs terrace. Follow the black handrail up the stairs from the sidewalk to our front door. Our phone number is (619) 295-3939.
PARKING
On-street parking is usually available within a 3-block radius. Meters are free after 6:00 so if you park at a metered spot just put in enough money (probably less than a buck) to get you to 6:00 and then you’re home free. You can also park in the lot behind Shakespeare Pub two doors down, but do not park in El Indio's lot unless you want your car towed! If you can’t find parking next to the restaurant, there’s always LOTS OF PARKING on San Diego Avenue and the adjacent side streets just past the Chevron station across Washington Street. So please don't drive yourself crazy endlessly going around in circles waiting to pounce on that perfect spot when there's TONS OF PARKING less than three blocks away!

NV Pierre Sparr "Cremant d'Alsace" Brut Rose ~ $20
(France) Winemaker's Notes: Salmon pink color with fresh aromas of soft red berries like strawberry and raspberry. Round, fruity palate with hints of peach and intense flavors of apple. Lively acidity frames thewell-made structure and delicate bubbles with a smooth, clean and dry finish. ~~~ Review by Wine Enthusiast ~ 93 points: This deep, coral-colored sparkling wine lets you know right up front that it is to be taken seriously. Apple-juice aromas mingle with hints of petrol, toffee and caramelized onion. Those savory notes develop further on the palate with a rich, teriyaki-like flavor that’s brightened up with apple and a hint of cranberry. At this price, you can keep a bottle handy to pair with any meal life throws at you or to just enjoy on its own.
2020 Penfolds “Bin 311” Chardonnay ~ $30
Nose of fleshy white peach, lemon verbena, a pithy citrus lift and a spray of spring blossoms with a mascarpone creaminess and scents of toasted cashew and almond nougat. Subtle additional background aromas of flint, wet stone and sea spray. Complex, intense palate of white peach and nectarine up front followed by limestone minerality. Mouth-watering and persistent finish. ~~~ Review by Wine Advocate ~ 92 points: Quite smoky and toasty, but also richly fruited and citrusy, this wine is a lovely example of Australian Chardonnay. Loaded with pineapple and citrus notes and bursting with bold flavors and a ripe, custardy feel with a lingering, citrusy-crisp finish.
2021 Lindquist “GSM” Rhone-Style Red Blend ~ $26
(Central Coast) Winemaker’s Notes: 47% Grenache, 28% Syrah + 25% Mourvedre. Fresh aromas of cherry, raspberry and baking spice lead into a tightly wound palate with juicy red fruits balanced by rocky minerality and peppery spices. Easy to drink yet complex.
Buffalo Trace Bourbon Cream ~ $24 (750ml)
A rich, cream liqueur with vanilla notes made with Buffalo Trace Bourbon. Enjoy it chilled, on the rocks, over ice cream, or pour it in your coffee for an indulgent after dinner (or brunch!) treat.
