WHY US THIS SUCH A BARGAIN? We just share the costs equally. There is no profit, nor labor costs.  

EDUCATIONAL: We will taste 8 wines from all over Portugal, and learn about each of them. We’ll be learning about these 8 wines and discussing their taste characteristics.  

• Everyone who attends will receive a 30-page booklet on Portuguese Wines, esp. the ones that we are tasting.
• You also receive a booklet of valuable reprints from CMS (The Court of Master Sommeliers), who are the world’s greatest wine experts.  

FOOD. There will be warm bread for palate cleansing. You are encouraged to bring dinner for yourself and/or any snacks to share with the group.  

REGISTRATION. The cost is $16.14/person, which is the exact cost of the wine, ice, bread, rental fee, etc.

To save the cost of paying a fee to register online, you can pay me personally until Sept 3. Be sure to contact me to see if there is space before sending money.

FUTURE TASTINGS:

• October: 8 Rhone wines for $18.65. Next to Bordeaux, the Rhone is the 2nd largest area of quality wine (AOC) in France. This is an exciting tasting because we have wines from many of the very top producers of various parts of the Rhone, except ours are 2nd wines from the top producers, but they don’t cost hundreds of dollars.
• November: Cabernet Sauvignon from around the world. 7 wines for $16.07.
• December: World Class Wines vs Trader Joe wines. Taste 6 wines for about $27, 3 of which are World Class, including a fabulous $120 Bordeaux.
