Debevino Winery is bringing back two of our favorite collaborators — Papalias Pizza and Wine Educator Missa Capozzo (CSW, WSET3, FWS) — for a pizza and wine pairing. Missa and Papalias proprietor Josh Dale have selected five Debevino wines to be paired with five gourmet pizzas.
During this gastronomical experience, Missa will describe how the wines complement the pizzas, which are served hot and delicious out of Papalias’ wood-fired oven. In addition, you will learn the fundamentals of wine and food pairing with fun, educational demonstrations.
WINE & PIZZA PAIRINGS
- Pinot Grigio: Potato, rosemary, lemon, and garlic with white sauce
- Quattro: White pickle and spicy honey
- Rozzi Rosé: Traditional margherita
- Barbera: "The Milan" (sopressata and gorgonzola)
- Amici: "Super margherita" (Italian sausage, capicola and pepperoni)
