Wines of the Loire Valley France
We are thrilled to showcase some of the most important wines and varieties in the Loire in a unique and exciting side-by-side tasting format. We're serving our typical coursed dinner, but we're pouring two Sauvignon Blancs and two Cab Francs side-by-side. We're also featuring the wines of Domaine Joseph Mellot - a family with over 500 years of wine production history! Amazing!
First and foremost, you'll see how different soil types and different terrior (microclimates and locations) impact the same grape. Then, you'll see how both wines pair with two different courses. What's your favorite? It might be different from your neighbors!
Event takes place in the Banquet Room at Local Roots and it has its own entrance to the far left of the main entrance. (You cannot access the Banquet Room through the main restaurant.)
