Join us as our staff winemaker, Jacquelyn, introduces Portuguese wines beyond the famous fortified wine, Port. While living in Portugal and making wine there, she gained first-hand knowledge and experience of all that Portugal has to offer. With over 250 indigenous grape varieties and 13 unique regions, there is a lot to be excited about. Even though she's modest about it, these are wines from producers she knows very well!
You'll explore the region, learn a bit of history, and get to know eight fascinating wines. There will be plenty of opportunity for conversation and questions while we nosh on wine-friendly treats. It's not quite like vacationing in the Duoro, but we'll transport you for the 90 minute class duration.
