And the best way to dig in and get to know the new releases of the world’s most high-quality co-operative winery? Joining our good friend Jim Hutton of Vias Imports and exploring the majority of the wines!

This is the first time since the pandemic we’ve been able to host this tasting and we’re beyond excited. Aldo Vaca and the team at the Produttori only make Riserva Barbaresco in vintages where the “regular” bottling can stand on its own and all 9 of their individual crus are worth showcasing solo. After the tiny 2017 crop and skipping Riservas in 2018, having at least a little of the 2019 Riservas to show is a delight.

Another small crop and soaring international demand mean we only have six different 2019 Crus to show, but we’ll also pour a couple of 2017s for contrast. Italian expert and industry veteran Jim Hutton will share the stories of the winery and vineyards as we discuss:
