Join us on August 10 at the Wind to Wine Festival | Harvest 2024

The Wind to Wine Festival returns to Gambonini Family Ranch on August 10, 2024, for its annual celebration of the upcoming harvest and another year of award-winning releases.

The grand tasting will feature a wide array of Petaluma Gap AVA wines from 25+ wineries, appetizers by the Girl + the Fig, and live acoustic guitar performed by Clay Bell. This event is a special treat for Pinot Noir lovers; the noble grape is the most widely planted in the Petaluma Gap, and the wines are critically acclaimed. It’s the perfect opportunity to discover your new favorite wine in advance of National Pinot Noir Day on August 18.

This year, VIP guests have the option to add one of two seated tasting seminars to their ticket. Both tastings includes a lineup of Petaluma Gap wine curated from multiple wineries and focused on a distinct theme. Seats are limited, and the tastings will be guided by winemakers and winery representatives of the wines in the lineup.

  • Petaluma Gap Winemakers and Burgundy, 12:30 PM. Burgundy set the benchmark for what Pinot Noir and Chardonnay can be, and in this 25 minute tasting you’ll have the opportunity to taste Petaluma Gap wines side by side with Burgundy wines. This tasting is in anticipation of the June 2025 Burgundy cruise on the Saône River, hosted by Petaluma Gap winemakers Bevan Cellars, Panther Ridge, Schermeister, and Thirty-Seven Wines.
  • Pinot Noir from Two Iconic Vineyards, 1:30 PM. Two of the most renowned vineyards in the Petaluma Gap are Sangiacomo Roberts Road and Gap's Crown, and many winemakers source the grapes for their most highly acclaimed Pinot Noir wines from these vineyards. This 25-minute tasting will include wines made by Lombardi, MacRostie, Montagne Russe, Schug, and Sojourn Cellars.

Gambonini Family Ranch

The festival will take place at the historic Gambonini Family Ranch located on Old Lakeville Road #3; the ranch was previously used for dairy farming and includes the historic hay barn and an outdoor patio adjacent to where the Gambonini family plans to plant a vineyard. The barn was built more than 100 years ago and has been retrofitted as a beautiful, bucolic event space with heavy old redwood beams, sliding doors, and wide windows to take in the spectacular hillside vistas.
