The Winery at Holy Cross Abbey will host its 18th annual Spring Wine Extravaganza on Saturday, April 26, from 1:00-4:00 pm on the winery grounds at 3011 East US Highway 50 in Cañon City. The celebration will showcase a variety of wines produced and hand-selected for the event by winemaker Jeff Stultz. The featured selections will be a combination of newly released and gold medal awarded wines.
The Cañon City High School Culinary Arts Program will provide hors d’oeuvres to enhance the wine-tasting experience. Enjoy the grounds, food, and award-winning wines while listening to the Gypsy Jazz stylings of local musicians The Jazz Cats. The winery will offer ticket holders special one-time pricing on all the featured wines. There will be additional discounts on wine and merchandise purchased in the tasting room that day. Winemaker Jeff Stultz will hold barrel tastings in the production facility and guests will also have the opportunity to purchase selections of past vintages from the Wine Library.
