Local Event
Join us for The Winemakers Co-Op fall portfolio tasting, Sunday November 3 at Hawk Haven Vineyard. Taste along with our member winemakers as we unveil our new Open Source release, Open Source Pinot Blend 2023.
We will kick off the day with a seated Winemakers VIP Tasting and Panel Discussion where guests will taste through all six our member’s interpretations of our collaboratively made wine. We are happy to welcome Keith Wallace, Founder of Wine School of Philadelphia who will moderate our tasting and panel discussion.
Meet the winemakers and proprietors of the Co-Op wineries, gain insight into the fine wine movement in New Jersey and be a part of the burgeoning local wine scene. All wines poured at this event will be proudly 100% New Jersey-grown and made from vinifera grapes in dry or classically sweet styles.
A celebration of New Jersey wine, our DTS (down the shore) edition in Cape May will include a walk around tasting of over 45 of our member’s current wine releases, with live music and an à la carte menu to pair with our wines. We are happy to welcome Carlo DeVito, Winemaker, Author, How to Drink Wine: From Grapes to Glasses, Everything You Need to Know who will lead a mini-session during our Winemakers Showcase focused on sparkling wines, as well as signing his latest book for attendees.
Our Winemakers Showcase will feature a rotating cast of winemakers pouring wine in informal presentations. At half hour intervals a different winemaker will present and pour one of their wines throughout the afternoon.
