Local Event
Join us in our fourth annual Soul of Seattle fundraising event where we celebrate the Black excellence in our food & beverage community that create the fabric of Seattle's culture.
On Saturday, February 8th, 2025 we will be raising funds by throwing a party, featuring 20+ local Black-owned and run establishments. Upstairs, you'll find small bites of food and beverages, a cozy lounge, and live music from DJ Lady Coco throughout the night.
Downstairs we will host our multicourse VIP Dinner, where esteemed guest and food advocate Venice Williams will present a keynote and ritual libation service with Gee Scott as Emcee. We will take a moment to honor the late Chef Wayne Johnson throughout the menu. Wine pairings will be presented by LaShellé Wines.
You'll find art curated by Arte Noir, a silent auction, and a raffle.
Our goal this year is to raise $500,000 in order to support the participating vendors as well as to MUST (Mentoring Urban Students and Teens), a local nonprofit that has a unique mentorship program that builds a solid foundation of hope for young Black men.
