We are very excited to announce our next wine dinner at our San Juan Capistrano location, Perpketive Studio! For our April Winemaker Dinner Series we're thrilled to share a fantastic line up of wines from boutique, Santa Barbara based winery, Tercero. We have a fantastic line-up of small production wines planned, each which will be presented by owner/winemaker, Larry Schaffer. With a focus on Santa Barbara County vineyards, Larry seeks out lesser-known varietals and exceptional vineyards to craft beautiful wines. In addition to being a juggernaut winemaker, Larry also heads The Rhone Rangers, a group of exceptional winemakers focused on Rhone varietals throughout the Central Coast. We are excited to share this unique offering of wines and the stories behind each of them. He is a wealth of knowledge and quite a character, so you can expect a very fun evening of wine and food conversation from both Larry and Chef Erin. * Please note, this dinner will take place on the second floor in loft space. A flight of low-rise stairs is the only way to access the seated dinner area.
Each selection will be paired with its own wine inspired dinner course, prepared by Chef Erin Sealy. Chef Erin specializes in pairing food with wine, with a slightly different approach than most. Prior to creating a menu, each wine is tasted and reviewed and then she creates a food pairing, highlighting the nuances of each wine. This concept creates a dinner and pairing experience with layers of complexity and unique creations which exemplify the enjoyment of each wine. With a passion for food and wine, Chef Erin delights attendees with a detailed account of the pairing concept and cooking techniques that create each course.
