Local Event
Lakewood Vineyards Winery opened to the public in June 1989 with seven varieties of wine, made from estate-grown grapes from their 45 acres of Finger Lakes vineyards. The 100 acres of Finger Lakes vineyards that Lakewood Farm cultivates surround the winery in every direction. Using traditional vineyard practices as well as new techniques, they optimize the potential of each variety and deliver beautiful grapes to the press deck each harvest. The winery produces a diverse selection of wines. Their dedicated and talented team prides themselves on offering Finger Lakes wines of exceptional quality and value.
Presenter Chad Hendrickson has been with Lakewood for 20 years, mainly focusing on production and sales. He has a degree in Plant Science from Alfred State and is a class 16 Lead graduate from Cornell. Chad is also on the board of the National Grape Research Alliance.
