Local Event
Keuka Spring Vineyards, founded by Len and Judy Wiltberger in 1981, has a rich history of winemaking in the Finger Lakes region. Starting with 30 acres overlooking Keuka Lake, they planted a variety of grapes and produced their first vintage in 1985. Over the years, the winery expanded earning multiple awards including three Governor’s Cups. In 2022, the Simmons family, long-time Finger Lakes grape growers, took over the winery continuing the tradition of crafting exceptional wines while maintaining a welcoming tasting experience for visitors.
WNY Representative Cassidy Gertis will guide us through a tasting of a few of these exceptional wines, with a focus on the grape varietals that thrive in the Finger Lakes’ cool climate.
