Join in for a night of wine, writing, and meditating on the senses at Heaven and Earth in Greenpoint. Led by Kelly Laughlin -- artist, writer, and founder of Odette Press -- root into the ritual of savoring and sip on grounding themes and intentionally crafted wine selections.

FLOW:

We'll start with introductions to ground into the space and the evening, then settle into writing prompts. Think: chances to sit, sip, and savor the taste of the experience. Prompts to remember the earth in the process. You'll be guided into your senses through a meditation, and journaling prompts, and leave with practices to write and meditate through the senses on your own. In short: in touch, and enlivened.

Bring a sturdy journal and pen, or add an Odette Press medium map journal on to your ticket. Tickets include one pour from the bar. Orders with journals, you'll get to pick your journal at the start of the event.

About your host: Kelly Laughlin [she/her] is a bookbinder, writer, creative meditation guide, experience designer, teaching artist, and the founder of Odette Press. Her practice is an infusion of walking, meditation, suminagashi, books, paper, lyricism, and creative moments in cities and nature. Devoted to sense experiences, you'll likely find her watching a bird, cooking, or listening to music deeply.

Refunds: Requests for full refunds can be made up to 48 hours of the event. Requests made between 48 - 24 hours of the event are eligible for Eventbrite credit for a future event. Any requests made within 24 hours of the event start time or after the event are not eligible for workshop credit or refund. Tickets may be transferred to another attendee.
