START Children’s Center of Rensselaer County would like to invite you to be a part of its fundraising efforts. The Center is hosting “Taste of Fall”, to include food, drinks, and silent auction. The eventwill be held on October 22, 2024, from 6pm until 9pm at The Franklin Terrace Ballroom in Troy, NY. As a non-profit organization, the mission of the START Children’s Center is to reduce the trauma to child victims and non-offending family members in the aftermath of abuse disclosure and/or witness to violence. This is accomplished by providing a child-friendly environment designed to enhance the investigation, counseling, case management, education and team interviewing with the children. These services are offered to more than 400 children and their families annually. Since the Center’s inception in 1998, we have served over 4,000 abused children and their non-offending family members.
