Are you curious about Saké? 1811 Bar Room in Brecksville, Ohio invites you to join us to indulge your palate in an evening of Saké tasting led by Saké Sommelier Matthew Spinner, former chef and partner at Bar Oni in Tremont. This event promises to be a night to remember!

Saké Tasting Experience: Prepare for your palate to be delighted by a curated selection of four premium sakés expertly introduced by Saké Sommelier Matthew Spinner.

• Miyasaka Shiro Matinee
• Akitabare ‘Winter Blossom’ Daiginjo
• Tedorigawa U-Nique Yamahai Junmai
• Kamoizumi Red Maple Junmai Ginjo

Saké is one of the oldest brews on the planet. Although in Japanese, saké is used as a general term for all alcoholic beverages, in English, saké is commonly defined as an alcoholic beverage produced from fermented rice. It has varying styles and quality levels which we will explore in addition to learning about how it’s made and how to best experience it! All Sakés sampled during the event will be available for purchase at the event for you to enjoy in your own home!
