We’re excited to welcome back winemaker Lisa Hallgren next week for an evening of wine flights, pairings, and lively wine discussions! The wines that Lisa, and her oenologist husband Morten, produce at Ravines Wine Cellars have gained international acclaim, wowing critics with a nuanced, dry style of Finger Lakes Riesling, and elegant Pinot Noirs plush with Burgundian finesse. We had our first Ravines wine dinner back in 2013 - we’ve proudly introduced our guests to Ravines wines ever since!
Lisa and Morten’s wines showcase the exciting potential of upstate New York’s Finger Lakes wine region. Each night, we’ll offer wine flights - and pour reserve wines by the glass - so you can explore and compare. Try Ravines’ dry Rieslings against Old World classics to see how wines from the Finger Lakes match up. Or try a flight of reds to see how Cabernet Franc and Pinot Noir shine in the cool ravines of the Finger Lakes (and hence the name Ravines!). And pair it all with a sampler from our kitchen – or take our wine pairing suggestions to find the perfect glass for your dinner!
