Local Event
Join queer men from all over the region as we share great food, drinks, conversation, & stories to close out the year and look forward to next year. If you feel comfortable you could share about 1) Things from 2024 you are grateful for, 2) Things from 2024 you are ready to let go of, 3) new things you are welcoming into your life in 2025. If you are introverted or don't want to share in front of a group, you could share one-on-one with someone you trust, or just listen and enjoy the bountiful food & drink.
“For many queer men, the holidays can sometimes be a challenging time because they may be estranged geographically or otherwise from their birth families while also not having as diverse a chosen family as they might want,” said Bart Church, Q-MoB’s Executive Director and one of the organizers of the Winter Solstice Potluck. “We are therefore bringing the community together to share food, beverages, and stories about things we are grateful for, things we are letting go of, & things we are welcoming new into our lives.”
