Please join us for our next dinner at our North Park location! For our October 3-course dinner we'll be featuring a great line up of wines with a focus on fall pairings and warm flavors. We'll feature one white, one light red and one bold red; so, we'll have something for every palate! The common ground for these wines is that they are each delicious and perfect for your fall, holiday table. Chef Erin will present an Iron Chef style menu featuring secret ingredient, PUMPKIN! Though each course will highlight this ingredient, we promise each course will be unique, creative and most importantly, a great pairing with its respective wine. Chef Erin will also present the wines for this dinner, sharing the concept behind each pairing and providing insights into each wine and corresponding region. Expect a wonderful evening of wine, food and insights. Don't miss this fun evening of wine, paired cuisine and conversation!
* Please note, this dinner will take place on the second floor in event space. A flight of exterior, low-rise stairs is the only way to access this event area.
We're happy to announce the return of 3-course events; offering an incredible value at a time when we're all only hearing about increasing costs. Once a month I will offer an abbreviated, 3-course dinner/brunch at either HardiHood in North Park or Drift Cafe in Pacific Beach. This equates to a full meal (appetizer, two light entrees and complimentary dessert) along with 3 paired wines, still 3oz pours of each. It is the same great concept of wine pairing with discussions on both the wine and food.
Each selection will be paired with its own wine inspired dinner course, prepared by Chef Erin Sealy. Chef Erin specializes in pairing food with wine, with a slightly different approach than most. Prior to creating a menu, each wine is tasted and reviewed and then she creates a food pairing, highlighting the nuances of each wine. This concept creates a dinner and pairing experience with layers of complexity and unique creations which exemplify the enjoyment of each wine. With a passion for food and wine, Chef Erin delights attendees with a detailed account of the pairing concept and cooking techniques that create each course.
