Local Event
We're excited to offer Gravity Haus Members and their guests access to a private buyout of one of Colorado's most beloved culinary experiences - lunch at The Tennessee Pass Cookhouse.
Begin the afternoon with a guided hike with Vail Community Manager Cynthia Johnson, and Gravity Haus' Manager of Experiences, Caly Crum. Weave between the aspens in the San Isabel Forest as they burn bright with their yellow leaves as you cover 1.3 miles and 350' of gain.
You'll be rewarded for your efforts when you come to the clearing that the Cookhouse calls home, complete with impressive vistas of 14,000-foot peaks and a huge open deck to take in the gorgeous afternoon.
The Cookhouse is a solar-powered yurt, which will be reserved exclusively for Gravity Haus members this afternoon. The menu is not what one expects at an off-the-grid backcountry yurt: full of offerings like duck confit tacos and bison cheeseburgers are meticulously prepared in this off-the-grid gem. The pièce de résistance are Roxanne’s cookies, delivered warm to your table and stuffed with oats and chocolate and topped with fresh whipped cream.
