Join the team from Tantay to craft Peru's national dish, ceviche.*

Chef Jose from Tantay will be leading a workshop to recreate Peru's national dish, ceviche, a fresh and summery citrus-cured fish plate.* Tantay is Mid-Michigan’s only Peruvian restaurant, and they happily serve up South American fare with a mission to be involved in their community as a team effort. While ceviche can be found in many cuisines around the globe, it originates from Peru and has been enjoyed by the region for as far back as 3,000 years ago. Tantay’s team is excited to share this dish and its history with you!

The Dine & Discovery Series at ANC is generously sponsored by MSUFCU.

*Meal features raw fish. Consuming raw or undercooked meats, poultry, seafood, shellfish, or eggs may increase your risk of foodborne illness, especially if you have certain medical conditions.”

Please be sure to wear comfortable clothes and close-toed shoes for working in the kitchen. Hair that is shoulder-length or longer needs to be tied back.

If you have any questions about the class or dietary concerns, contact Abie Kopacz at events@allenneighborhoodcenter.org or 517-999-3921 before the start of class.
