Three of this Friday’s tasting wines are new arrivals of cuvees we – and you! – have loved for years. One is the new release of a wine we explored a couple of years ago when Sebastian Zucchardi visited the shop, and it’s better than ever – making the case for concrete vs wood in wine aging. And one is a limited availability, nicely priced, Roussillon white gem from 100 year-old-vines delivering wild levels of richness and freshness. In short – something for everyone on the tasting table this Friday from 3-7pm. Join us to sample:

Patricia Green Cellars Sauvignon Blanc 2024 - Even more delicious than last year's hit; as Vinous says, it's "easily one of the best in the region.”

Cantina Terlano Pinot Grigio Tradition 2024 - If you like Pinot Grigio, you'll love this. If you think you don't like Pinot Grigio, this is the wine that will change your mind!

Dom Lafage Cotes Catalanes Cuvee Centenaire Blanc 2022 - 100 year-old vines of Grenache Blanc, Grenache Gris and Roussanne from just off the Mediterranean Sea give a wine of both richness and freshness.

Bodegas Borsao Garnacha Tinto 2022 - So just how much deliciously robust and still easy drinking wine can you get from $7.49? This much while it lasts.

Zuccardi Malbec Concreto 2022 - Sebastian Zuccardi continues to revolutionize Mendoza Malbec, focusing on wines of place with concrete instead of spiced oak shaping the wines and allowing the fruit to sing out. Powerful and delicious.

Jose continues our exploration of the range and styles of Gouda with L'Amuse Two Year Gouda. Affineur Betty Koster of Fromagerie L'Amuse selects Gouda wheels to age for two years at 54 degrees - warmer than most cheese caves. The warmer temperatures give even more complexity to this vividly orange cheese with crunchy salt crystals and loads of caramel, hazelnut and butter flavors. A huge yum with or without the wines!
