Holidays are around the corner and we're rolling out the classes to make some really cool gifts! This Cheese Slicer & Wine Stopper is a great project that is also a thoughtful gift. You can personalize your board by choosing your own wood from several pieces offered for the class. You will then learn the steps to making your own personal Cheese Board with a slicer including the right finishes and more. Then on to turning with the lathe to make your “One-of-a-Kind" Wine Stopper. You have the option of using a wood or acrylic turning blank. This is a comprehensive 7.5 hour class with a 30 minute lunch break. All class participants receive a 15% discount on merchandise purchased in the store on the same day of their class. Exclusions Apply. Students should come properly attired for a woodworking class (tight fitting clothing, long hair restrained and constrained from the face); and bring or wear provided industry standard hearing protection and safety glasses during equipment operation. All woodworking classes are held in a store that sells a wide variety of woods, including exotic woods such as cedar, aromatic cedar and other products (e.g., finishes, cleaners, etc.) that may cause allergic or other reactions in a small number of cases.
