If you peruse the cooking corners of YouTube, you might come across videos of people cooking out in the wilderness.
The combination of eye-catching meals with stunning landscapes and vistas might have some hoping to cook outdoors themselves.
Luckily, Radnor Township's Parks and Recreation Department is hosting a Backcountry Gourmet Wilderness Cooking Experience next month.
From 7 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. on Jan. 14, Hiking Hound Adventures LLC will lead the experience in the Radnor Township Building.
Attendees will learn essential backcountry cooking techniques, experiment with easy recipes, practice efficient food packing, and gain hands-on experience with camp stoves and cookware.
Participants will be preparing and eating a trail stable, packable appetizer, dinner, and dessert.
Below is the menu and ingredient list:
Appetizer
Grilled Feta and Dates
Main Dish
