The Judgment of Adelaide, a global blind wine tasting event inspired by the historic Judgment of Paris, will take place in New York City on Thursday, May 8, from 6:00 to 8:00 PM at the American Australian Association in Midtown Manhattan.

Presented in collaboration with Verve Wine and the Government of South Australia, this walk-around tasting will feature 16 wines hand-selected by Verve Wine’s Dustin Wilson, Master Sommelier. Attendees will taste all wines blind between 6:00 and 7:00 PM before the bottles are revealed for an open tasting during the second half of the evening.

The event aims to spotlight the exceptional quality of South Australian wines in a direct comparison with top international selections. Light Australian-inspired bites will be provided by Two Hands, and guests will be entered into raffles featuring prizes such as Verve Wine gift cards, wine club memberships, and wine publications.

The Judgment of Adelaide is part of a broader partnership between the American Australian Association and South Australia, designed to strengthen cultural and industry ties through wine, food, and shared expertise.
