A five course wine pairing dinner featuring specialty dishes from TOMA's Chef/Owner, each perfectly paired with distinctive Italian wines.

We invite you to join us for Lawrence Hall's premiere wine pairing dinner hosted by acclaimed chef and owner of TOMA at Lawrence Hall, Anthony Tomacchio.

Chef Anthony will be serving five exclusive dishes made specially for this event. Each dish will be paired with an Italian wine hand-selected by Fred Magnotta, owner of F.Magnotta wines. Guests will be guided through the private dining experience by Fred as he describes each wine and how it enhances the flavors of each bite. Dinner will complete with a delectable Italian brachetto float, featuring Leona's ice cream.

This intimate dinner will be held on a Monday evening when Lawrence Hall is closed to the public, creating a truly unique setting for a very special evening.

Whether you're an oenophile and true foodie, a novice wine drinker who enjoys good food, or somewhere in between, this wine pairing dinner will make for the perfect night out!

Charcuterie

Chef’s selection of fine meats, cheeses, and an assortment of pickled veggies and fruits

Antipasto

Caprese melon salad with prosciutto, mozzarella, mint, balsamic, and black pepper

Primi

Smoked mozzarella ravioli with sweet corn, half-dried tomatoes, and a basil cream sauce

Secondi

Roasted half chicken with a blackberry balsamic reduction, arugula and black garlic aioli, and fingerling potatoes

-ABOUT THE CHEF-

Anthony Tomacchio, Chef/Owner of Loaded Food Group

Hailing from North of Boston, Chef Anthony Tomacchio was raised in an Italian-American household with a heavy focus on food as a means for familial connection. For the Tomacchios, cooking is not just a passion, it’s a way of life, and even at the young age of six, Chef Anthony found himself in the kitchen of his family’s sausage shop, cutting peppers and peeling onions. Paying homage to both of his Italian grandfathers, Chef Anthony now serves as the third generation in his family to step into restaurant ownership. His two current ventures - LOADED and TOMA - though the first in Pittsburgh, are in fact the fourth and fifth restaurants under his ownership.

Prior to moving to Pittsburgh in late 2023, Tomacchio launched two trendy eateries in the
Boston area, garnering immediate media attention and local accolades - Tomacchio himself, and his establishments, amassed nine local awards, including “Best New Restaurant,” in the first 18 months of operation.

Though not a classically trained chef, Tomacchio has spent a lifetime in the kitchen perfecting his craft, both professionally and personally. He brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to the table as he leads his two kitchens, striving to provide exemplary dishes that deliver an unforgettable guest experience. And with three young children at home, Tomacchio has had the pleasure of feeding even some of the most discerning palates and winning them over with taste.
