Our How-To classes take a deep dive into 1-2 ingredients, dishes or foods that need a bit more time for exploration in order to become an expert.
Seemingly easy to make, scallops are complicated. Many chefs soak them in milk, some swear by searing only in butter, others only in olive oil. Seasoning is another complication.
Different kinds of scallops and their shells will be explored, as well as two simple but elegant recipes to make scallops anytime at home - because store bought homemade scallops are so much cheaper than the four scallops you buy for $45 per plate, this class will have you enjoying your favorite seafood anytime you want.
