Trick-or-Treating takes on new meaning here at Bedford Cheese Shop! Join us as we pair traditional Halloween candies with artisanal cheeses. Spooky!! We will discuss the attributes of the pairings and how they meet our palates. Costumes are optional - but you can be sure that we will represent!!!

FAQ & Class Policies:

When should I arrive for my class?

For in person classes please arrive for the session a minimum of 5-10 minutes prior to your class.

Location:

This class will be hosted in our classroom space - The Homestead - which is located in our shop at 67 Irving Place, New York, New York, 10003.

Safety:

Please note, for these sessions, you will be handling knives and other sharp cheese tools; please use with caution.

Cancellation Policy:

All sales are final. We do not offer refunds. Transfers are only available if an “act of God” affects the shop (see below).

Act of God Policy:

If there is an unforeseen issue that is outside of human control or activity with a class taking place at the designated time, we will notify all customers via email. Bedford Cheese Shop (BCS) will offer available transfer dates, and refunds will be given at the sole discretion of BCS.

Photography & Video

By purchasing this ticket I hereby grant permission to Bedford Cheese Shop to use photographs and/or video of me taken on event date at Bedford Cheese Shop in publications, news releases, online, and in other communication related to the mission of Bedford Cheese Shop.

Is there a waitlist for Classes?

Not at the moment, classes are set up on a first come first serve basis. If you are interested in a specific class check out our calendar to see if it is listed for the following month or contact us to set up a private event (additional fees will apply for private events).

Is it possible to purchase a last minute ticket?

Yes, if you walk into the shop 10-15 minutes before one of our classes begins, and there is space still available that day, you can purchase a ticket at the register and show your receipt as proof of purchase.

I would like to gift a class. How do I do that?

We strongly suggest purchasing a gift card or voucher instead of a class for your guest. You can purchase these online here or in the shop at 718.395.3080.

Do you offer private classes?

Yes, we offer a wide variety of private classes and events. If you email thehomestead@bedfordcheeseshop.com we can send you our packages and pricing options to give you a better understanding of what we can offer. Please be aware that private classes/events need to be scheduled 2 weeks prior to your event date. We have a minimum guest count of 8.
