Local Event
Mark your calendars, our early fall tasting for the Grapevine Wine Tasting Group is September 11 at 7pm. The wine to be tasted is a perennial favorite – Pinot Noir.
You will find plenty of choices for a good Pinot Noir from California and France. The challenge is to find a quality Pinot Noir at a reasonable price! Don’t worry though, we are confident with a little sleuthing, that you will find a delicious Pinot Noir at your local grocery store! You probably already have a favorite wine from this varietal, so bring it along and see how it compares with your neighbor’s choice!
As a reminder, the tastings follow a familiar format. Each person (not each couple) will bring a bottle of the featured wine to the tastings. Wine glasses, tableware, bread, cheese, and wine tasting sheets will be provided by the Club in exchange for a fee of $20 for members and $25 for non-members. Attendees will be seated at tables of five to six people. You are welcome to specify if you wish to sit with friends. Often those requests can be accommodated.
There have been requests for a tasting focused on wines with bubbles. Seems appropriate for our early holiday tasting in November. Plan on it!
