Recently boasting three gold medals each in the Virginia's Governor's Cup, neighboring wineries 868 and Breaux Vineyards are hosting a collaborative experience on 4/27/25, where guests will have the opportunity to savor each of the winning vintages. Come and enjoy these gold medal wines, each meticiulously poured and paired at this delcious, multi-course dinner.
This event will feature tastings of all 6 of the gold medalists, and will have delicious food provided by Purcellville's own Chris Sharrer and his team from Market 93 Provisions.
868 Estate Vineyards - 2023 Sauvignon Blanc, paired with Pan seared sea scallops served with lemon chive beurre blanc and asparagus tips and tomato concasses
868 Estate Vineyards - 2022 Chardonnay, paired with Fried goats cheese, fresh green apple slices tossed in field greens, and a light honey dijon vinaigrette
868 Estate Vineyards - 2022 Meritage & Breaux Vineyards - 2020 Meritage, paired with Roasted Wild mushroom tossed with fresh thyme, pappardelle pasta and a creamy mornay sauce
Breaux Vineyards - 2022 Cabernet Sauvignon, paired with Slow roasted Petit Beef Chateau with roasted shallots, Cabernet demi glace and poached asparagus and carrot wrap on rosemary roasted potatoes
Breaux Vineyards - 2022 Petite Verdot, paired with Chocolate Chambord Mousse with toasted almond slivers
